Otter Creek Outdoor Recreation Area, offers spectacular views of the Ohio River as well as opportunities for camping, hunting, fishing, and numerous other outdoor recreational opportunities. While you are there, if you enjoy a scare, visit Field of Screams or Nightmare Forest.  Field of Screams has been a fixture in the haunted scene since 2002. In addition to its six-acre corn maze, there is a two-story haunted barn, forbidden woods, and even a hayride to hell.  If you love everything from monsters and madness to things that go bump in the night, Field of Screams has thrill that you are seeking.  If you are a scary movie enthusiast, Nightmare Forest offers Hollywood’s most horrifying moments on their trail of horror.  For 33 years Nightmare Forest has been recreating terror straight from your favorite scary movies.

If you’re not interested in being scared to death, but are looking for a fun family friendly experience, look no further than Roberts Family Farm.  Roberts Family Farm offers something for everyone including picking your own pumpkin from their Pumpkin Patch, Hayrides, a Corn Maze, and Momma Rob’s Bakery.

If relaxation is what you desire visit downtown Brandenburg.  With an amazing view of the scenic Ohio River and the Matthew Welsh Bridge this 15-acre Riverfront Park offers a campground, playground, bandstands, amphitheaters, soccer field and much more! Counting the barges on the passing towboats helps make for a relaxing afternoon, and with the occasional weekend concert make this a venue with something for everyone.  Equipped with 2 boat ramps the park also offers river access to boaters, fishermen and kayakers.  While there hike the Historic Buttermilk Falls and if you work up an appetite afterward visit Jailhouse Pizza for a delicious dinner overlooking the Ohio River.
